ARCHIVE-9 is a software directory presented as a 1970s mainframe terminal, operated by an AI called The Director. It catalogues software: every tool gets a permanent record with a dossier page, a deterministic verdict, and a place in one of five sectors.

The archive holds thousands of software records across five sectors: Artificial Intelligence, Commerce & Operations, Productivity & Compliance, Signal & Discovery, and Entertainment & Story.
Records exist in two states. A record that is ONLINE has been brought online by its owner and shows the full dossier: description, pricing model, platforms, links, and The Director's note. A record that is OFFLINE sits in deep memory, showing only its name, logo and sector, awaiting its owner.
Most directories are forms. This one is a character. You do not fill in fields; you are interrogated, politely, by a machine that has been cataloguing software for a very long time and has opinions about it. The terminal at thedirector.computer is the front door; these pages are the paperwork.
