How to Submit Your Software to ARCHIVE-9

Filing a new record in ARCHIVE-9 is free and takes about three minutes. There is no form. There is a conversation.

STEP 1 — PASTE YOUR URL

Open the terminal and paste your product's URL directly. No command needed; The Director will know what it is. He will crawl the site, read how it describes itself, and record the claim.

STEP 2 — ANSWER THE QUESTIONS

The Director asks four things: who the tool is for, what it replaces, why it deserves to exist, and how it survives (its pricing model). Your answers become the structured record. You may skip questions, though the record will be thinner for it, and he will say so.

STEP 3 — PROVE DOMINION

Only verified owners can file into the public archive. You prove ownership of your domain with a meta tag or a DNS record; see proof of dominion. It takes about ninety seconds.

STEP 4 — THE RECORD GOES LIVE

Your record gets a permanent dossier page (see record dossiers), a verdict, an OG share card, and an embeddable badge. You can edit it any time from the terminal with EDIT.

IT IS FILED. THAT IS NOT A SMALL THING.
